HHFRN Provides Financial Support to Young Cancer Patients on the Occasion of Buddha Jayanti

Kathmandu, Nepal — Marking the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti, Upachar Ko Lagi Sahayogi Haat Haru (Helping Hands For Remedies - HHFR) extended financial support to two young cancer patients, reaffirming its commitment to compassion and service to humanity. The assistance was generously provided by Ms. Rajeshwori, a dedicated donor who chose this special day to spread hope and healing.

The beneficiaries, Unish Basnet, an 8-year-old boy suffering from Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer, and Ashish Khadka, a 6-year-old diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), received the much-needed financial aid to support their ongoing treatments.

HHFRN’s president, Sworupa Shrestha, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Rajeshwori and all other donors for their continued support in fulfilling HHFR’s mission of aiding underprivileged patients. “This Buddha Jayanti, we are reminded of the power of kindness and the impact of even a small act of generosity. Together, we can bring light to the lives of those struggling in the darkness of illness,” .
